Sounds nice on my Android ear plugs. Did you pronounce some of the lower mids on the snare? I really hate the original snare track, but in your mix it sounds good.

 

Hi ! I will be using the United Plugins UniChannel with 3 Preamps/EQ/Comps (27 combinations in total).Can i use these combinations or stick to one preamp,EQ and Comp ? Thanks for this fine idea

 

Just one combination! That's what the challenge is about: basically mixing with the plugin equivalent of a mixing desk that has one channelstrip per channel, as in the analogue days. Does UniChannel have stepped frequencies? Does it NOT have variable Q?

 

Thanks Hazen for your quick answer ! I will stick to the German Strip,it's (to my ears) the best sounding.The Unichannel is on the updated list of the allowed strips and have stepped frequencies on the GB and GER options (and no Q at all).Have a good day

 

Thank you! The snare processing is just a tiny bit of 200 on cream, but notice that snare is out of phase with the overheads and the majority of the snare sound comes from invert the phase
