Hey so there is a download for Arturia V synth collection 2024.8 version, however instead of one zipped file and 1 installer, there are now around 11 zipped files from part 01, to part 11. Should i download all these files? or should i just download and unzip the part 01 file, and run the installer then? Thank you!

Yes. It will not build the whole package without one of the parts.

 

If you are interested only in a part, select one of parts file and open. Then select what you want with program which supoort this. Almost all well known progrmas does supopport this.

 

You might try using jdownloader, (https://jdownloader.org/) a popular download manager for this sort of thing.
Set the download path to some folder or another drive and exclude it from being scanned by your antivirus.
Files from sister site are trustworthy, but downloading anything from unknown sources it is best to download to your normal location so that antivirus will scan it.

 

You will need all the parts to reconstruct them into the total install package. Its common for large archives to be split into pieces for easy download.

This has been going on since the days of floppy disks, Windows98 was like 30 floppy disks, that had to be loaded to create the install, if one disk had a crc error you were boned. Its why Bill Gates, STeve Jobs and PhatBoy Slim invented the Compact Disc format back in 1975.

In most cases, after you have ALL the zipped/wrapped files downloaded in a folder in your machine, you just extract the first part and all the other parts will be automatically extracted one after the other to built a folder with everything you need.

In other cases, you will be asked by the program you are using to locate the next zipped/wrapped file to be extracted.

there is typically an instruction file, colloquilly referred to as NFO or .nfo file. Windows thinks these are windows programs and will try to tell you its invalid. it is in fact simply a text file that can be opened with notepad or wordpad.
