Hi can any one help installed Arturia V Collection 9 v9.1.0 r2r but whn i load the vst into cubase 12 i get
unexpected error in gui loading
the instrument version (3.10.0.2545) does not match resources version (3.10.1.2675)
stand alone works fine

Uninstall & clean previous Arturia V Collection 9 first!
Windows? try another (free) DAW like REAPER to test VST (or VST3).

 

done uninstall after 1 install on clean pc still same , ill stick thanks on my daw .

 

First, uninstall all V Collection 9. Then:

Check if Arturia subfolder exists from %ProgramData%
(aka C:\ProgramData\Arturia)
If yes, this mean the uninstall wasn't perfect.
If you don't use Arturia controller (or legit Arturia), delete the Arturia subfolder from %ProgramData%

If not in C:\ProgramData, check into C:\Program Files\Arturia, instead!

Check if Arturia .dll files are remaining somewhere in your VST2 folder(s) - and check for possible "Arturia" subfolder!

Check also for possible (uninstalled) Arturia .vst3 files, from %COMMONPROGRAMFILES%\VST3 (and possible Arturia subfolder).
(aka C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3)

Into Registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Arturia
from Regedit
In worst case, delete Arturia subkey (I doubt the Registry entries are culprit).

Concerning Arturia, I precise don't use R2R releases, I prefer "CE-V.R" because R2R uses "emulator" and "vst2-to-vst3" homemade wrappers (why?). V.R team untouches files (except patched DLL & VST3 obviously) and doesn't cheat about timestamps on files/folders (R2R always set them to 00:00:00, why?). Be sure I don't want to create polemic, it's just a personal opinion, nothing else!

Also, Arturia by V.R is upto date (even if not indicated as "V Collection 9", you've got "Synths", "Keyboards & Pianos" and "Augmented" bundles).

At the moment, Pigments and Augmented GRAND PIANO aren't updated by Arturia, however (lastest are October 2022).

From lastest V.R (4-Nov-2022) I've successfully tested Prophet-5 V, CS-80 V4 and Farfisa V. Bugs inside Komplete Kontrol are fixed.

Which VST do you have the error?

There is a new version posted by CE a couple of days ago, all updated, you should try it

 

just to know, did you install ASCEMU2?

 

insomnia have said above the standalones are working. About R2R, standalone also requires ASCEMU2, like VST & VST3.

@insomnia : do not insist by using this R2R version, go to lastest CE-V.R, from sister website.

Be warned, Matrix 12 V comes with a GUI bug, you must download the original from Arturia's page for it to work properly.

 

I had an error issue with just one of their plugins Pigments (the rest work fine), the GUI was all messed up with the Arturia error pop up box.. I just deleted the damn thing, as none of my other plugins or programs have the same issue. I'm running Win 10 on a new 12th gen CPU with Ableton 11. No clue what caused it or the fix

 

The Matrix-12 V GUI bug concerns R2R or (lastest) V.R?

About Arturia, I create mine "INTERNAL REPACKs" : VST2 (VSTi) only for instruments, VST3 for audio effects.
I'm using vmWare Player virtual machine (can be restored) for install analysis (using Total Uninstall 6).
I use only patched .DLL or .VST from CE-V.R, but other files/folders comes from official Arturia installers (of course, I don't keep useless files/folders, such ASC).

Hi I seem to be having the same problem. I'm using Mac M1, Monterey, Ableton 11. I'm only trying to use Arturia Pigments v5. Standalone works fine but opening the VST in Ableton results in the GUI error. This only happens after I use a patch. Before the patch is opens fine in abletion and ask for email or enter demo mode.

I've been reading the posts above about different folders but I don't see anything saved in plugins or vst folders. Seems to just be a standalone app, similar to Analog Lab 4 which I also have and opens fine in Ableton.

Any help?
