whatever personal moral is in play here (i'll save you mine), i'm still not going to use it. tried pigment1, and theres plenty other synths out there that sounds the same or better.

 

looks great, sample playback, granular synthesis, sequencer ,tape delay and best of all the lpg from their buchla emu, which is great its the best lpg ive heard in software form, really does sound like the real ones ive owned or used, really promising update.

How do you actually export the Midi created from the arp/sequencer as .mid in Pigments v2, anyone has a clue?

 

'Output MIDI data' usually means that the plugin will send MIDI messages.
You'll have to record than on your own I suppose.

 

I'm with Ableton and I've found a way - I create another channel to record audio from Pigments. Then I throw the newly created audio back into another Midi channel ('convert Melody to new Midi track) and copy the same instrument. But final Midi track is not giving exactly the same sound result as the original audio/vst sound.

Anyone has a better idea to bypass this issue? Can't believe that there's no native sequencer Midi export function, just like in Omnisphere. How am I supposed to import in DAW/work on sequences longer than 16 beats and all?

How's it done in Ableton? Doesn't seem to work.
