Arturia Lab V5 Problem: Whenever I hit play instrument changes

    Hi,

    I had the Arturia Lab V Lite that came with my midi controller and it was awesome. I downloaded the full version from audioz and suddenly whenever I play any sound I like, it will automatically go back to grand piano on it's own, leaving the whole VST useless.

    Does anyone know how to fix this?

    MacOS Mojave 10.14.6
    Ableton 10.1.30

    Welcome to AS!
    So the title says "hit play" implying starting your daw.
    But you also say "play any sound", kind of implying just touching the keys.
    I'd guess you are hitting start on your daw, and when you are it is sending a MIDI message that sends a programme change. You'd have to be using a MIDI file or something for that.
    But equally your MIDI controller could have got changed via the cat walking over it, and is now sending out PC messages.
    Maybe even GM MIDI PC messages.
    But I'm just guessing...
