The website is always a mess @Arturia.... when I looked in my products I noticed the following text:

How To activate my product with Arturia Software Center ASC
Activate your product with Arturia Software Center
With the release of the VCollection 4, Arturia provided a new proprietary protection system that works with the Arturia Software Center (ASC). This application is automatically installed with the VCollection 4 or by any installer of the individual products that use it, so you should not have to install it manually. If you can not find it on your machine, you can always download it here

Oh yes - it looks like they have now deleted/removed all todays new Updates and 2 New synth 'demo/products' - wtf?

Do they not want us legit users to update our software or is there something wrong with the updates?

I would say - happily I got them all before they removed them - but I suppose I had better not install them, if theres a possibility that there's something wrong with them (only tried the new Solina - which I didn't like that much - altho the last 2 wernt that good either - I think their early stuff ws the best - whats happened)

Hope they didn't remove them because they didn't want me telling people about the updates - but that would be silly as I (like a lot of people) have bought all their virtual synths/keys (plus, 2 keyboards, a step sequencer and a Sparkle controller, ha, ha) and have waited a long while since they were last updated - I thought I would share the good news - but appears Arturia don't seem to want us updating yet :(

Yes, I don't see any new updates or instruments available period.

Also, If you own Collection version3, when Arturia Updates to version 4, do you get to update for free? Just curious, because I recently bought version 3.

Just had some misfortune with the update guys, be careful.
I own a license on the Oberheim SEM so, seeing this topic, I went to download the 1.3.0 update.
First of all, yes there's this ASC system from now on and it's crap.
After I had to recreate a password on my Arturia ID to have it working, it didn't apply the update naturally so I went from 5 to 4 licenses because of it.
Then, as the 1.3.0 was crashing Cakewalk Sonar X3 (x64) in both VSTi and VST3 I uninstalled the update to downgrade to v1.1.7 which was working fine before this but now I have a runtime error so I can't load the synth in any new project anymore.
Tried restore points, cleaning, regedit, new install... It's screwed...
    So pissed off...

I do my best to buy licenses on the products I use the most but it's so frustrating to see it's easier to use cracked versions of them.
    Fuck!

Always been like that with Arturia. They don't give a fuck about customers. Auth system was a shit with soft eLic and slightly less of a shit now.
I know of people buying the same thing 3 times getting frustrated and NEEDING the thing in the studio. Today, not next week. :snuffy:

i dont think the air keys work anymore
they also droped xp and vista installers
so i cant install the software center they now use, to find this out at the moment,( this could of been a good thing )

it could be a bug they found reading Nawhaks post
they also renamed the plugins wrong jupiter-8v2.dll
was the old name this one is named jupiter-8 v2.dll
i installed one update on a friends pc to see how it went
but did not try the Air keys yet,
ill try to copy the software center from his pc to mine tomorrow
    and see if it works,
but it will be wise to drop back here to read up on whats going on frist.
it sounds realy bad what happent to you Nawhak so waiting for R2R is a good plan,

Arturia are going in the wrong direction. When there is a trouble with their protection, they just don't care.
There are bugs in V1 ? No problem...buy V2 ! (and you still get bugs).
Support...what ? Customers can get answers several weeks later...when they get one.

Frankly, their product COULD have been nice. But they spend more time marketing and creating products variations (like several Spark and Lab versions) instead of making USABLE and STABLE products.

    Too bad :dunno:
ppl are telling them for years, but they still don't understand it seems.

I'm especially sad because they are french, like me. There are few successful french audio teams (like OhmForce), so seeing one going straight into a wall...

I don't use one Arturia synth personally, but it's good to know this stuff as my clients do. Thank you guys for your effort. I'll keep an eye on this thread.

I did like somewhat their Prophet and Jupiter emulations, though. Could pass when you know how to mix it...

I would like to at least get a chance to test these new Arturia synths [R2R? *yes*] , although judging by the comments it's probably not worth it. Better stick to free OBXD for Oberheim type sounds, and FBM Nabla for Solina type sounds, eh? :bleh: I've been thinking about buying the Keylab 61... it seems like a great bang for a buck, especially for when my bandmate and I smoke pot, drink, and jam whole night. It doesn't require a slew of braincells to work with it, and I mean that in a positive way because the less you have to think about the tech side of things the more creative you get. That is - when it works.

I had a similar experience with IK Multimedia. One of my clients bought some of their plugins and we ended up installing the cracked version because it was such a PITA to authorise them. We just gave up for sanity reasons. :snuffy:

Speaking of plugin protection, I have to hand it to Steinberg, guys. It's easy-peasy to authorise their programs, except for the fact that you have to be online. And I'd hate to have to carry the freaking e-licenser USB stick with me all the time just so I could use Cubase. :snuffy: Reaper rules.

To Find the DL links you must first dl and install "Arturia Software Center" then on the My products page you must scroll to the bottom of the page and then select "other products" to get to the dl links.
