Since v4 and v5 entered I've lost hope for the Minimoog V emulation.
I just could not get the Minimoog V sound the same as in previous versions (2.7).

Promo videos always was a problem for Arturia, but now they just beat themselves. Brovo!
Anyway, about their stuff. I gave to these things a lot of shots, but in the end I came to the conclusion that most of their synths sounds... the same. There is no any characters of originals.

Nice update but 199 euro as the promo upgrade price? Seriously?

Gotta love Wurlitzer I must say. But not the rest. Will see how this one will add.

Arturia makes great stuff - I use their Oberheim SEM, Solina and electronic organs a bit too much.

However, this reminds me of something I'd realized a few months back: if I were to not "upgrade" my OS from Mac OS 10.11, I would be content for the next few years with the software with which I'm "stuck" on it. I don't concern myself with any new soft synths nor plug-ins, except to update what I currently have installed. Realistically, I have it all covered, with lots of room to grow with the stuff. It's just a matter of pushing myself into new creative territory with new ideas. I'm totally "set" for software.

The older Jupiter sounded more like a Jupiter than the newer version imo. I do not have a real JP-8, but I have Super Jupiter and it sounds very close to the JP-8. The new versions in general sound more glossy, but I can not find any use for these sounds in my music. Also the Moog sounds different in the newer version. Maybe less harsh and more silky, but no real character.
Hopefully the V6 sounds better, more like the hardware.

v5 is still so fresh and they're releasing v6 already?! Frankly, that's freaking weird. It looks more like v5.1 to me. I'd say the decision to release v6 is somehow connected with x-mas sales and bonuses... I do wonder about their take on DX7, though.

I like that you can drag your own samples in the fairlight emulation

I don’t know how they’re going to beat the Roland Cloud DX7... I’m interested in the CMI. But as for analog modeling. I simply feel Arturia has fallen way behind... Let’s see.

CPU hogs. I was using several of their instruments, but I had to scrap them in favor of lessor hogs. GUI's are very "pretty" but very hard to work with. I see from the demo some newer GUI screens. Hopefully they are making wise changes.

I'd love to see this purely for the 4k re-sizeable GUI.

I do hope they upgrade their GUI's to be smoother. Damn, why can't software devs make their GUI's smooth like fabfilter's ?
