So I decided today to sit down and thoroughly audition every preset in Analog Lab V v5.4.5 from V.R. and I may be wrong or having a loopy episode but it seems to be missing lots of instruments.

The V.R. version under its Instruments tab shows 32 Instruments and on Arturia's website is says:
"Analog Lab V is a plugin that combines thousands of world-class presets spanning dozens of timeless instruments"

I was just wondering if I am missing something as, while 32 instruments is more then enough synths to keep a synth head happy, 32 is not dozens, its 2 and a half dozen... ?

 

Which do you think are missing? You can download them all separately and patch with XDIE patcher, no?

Make sure to run the DAW as Admin because it needs Admin permission to write new database file (db.db3) in the ProgramData folder

I do not know what, if any, are missing which is why I made this thread to ask.

What is this XDIE patcher?
Not everyone downloads every single release of everything that is released

On the instruments tab in Analog Lab V it shows:

ARP 2600, B-3, Buchla Easel, Clavinet, CMI, CS-80. CZ, DX7, Emulator II, Farfisa, Jun-6, Jup-8, Matrix-12, Mellotron, Mini, Modular, multi, OB-xa, Piano Grand, Piano Upright, Pigments, Prophet 5, Prophet VS, SEM, Solina, SQ80, Stage-73, Synclavier, Synthi, Vocoder, VOX Cont, Wurli.

Okay, its 31 if you do not include the multi but that is showing in the instruments tab.
