ok hold up. "artcore" was a sub-label and series of dnb compilations from the label React from 1995-1997. https://www.discogs.com/label/533518-Artcore-3

the slow stuff was often referred to as "intelligent", such as from Bukem and the Peshay, etc. on Good Looking Records.
the super fast stuff (over ~180bpm) at the time was more commonly called Breakcore (and was mostly ignored by Jungle/DNB, and was more part of the hardcore scene (doormouse, etc). It was often made using Tracker software like Fast Tracker, Dream Tracker, but also other free utilities like AudioMulch. They would sample nearly anything for music loops and such.
One common tactic was to double the bpm of the actual track inside the "daw" software for more divisions per bar in step sequencers.

"artcore" was not widely accepted as any separate "sub-genre" of drumnbass.

anyway, if you are trying to make this kind of stuff; you should really check out Renoise. Renoise: Homehttps://www.renoise.com
It is a modern tracker with VST3 support now, and is 75$ for a legit copy from the developer.

Not gonna lie that first track sounds pretty amazing.
Been a while since I found something that feels "new" to me .
The chord progression choice is also pretty cool has an asian vibe to it due to the royal road progression.
Most of these tracks have a good production aswell

Looked into renoise but can't get over that interface just gotta stick to cubase:dunno:

There's plenty of tutorials in youtube going about it, this one
summarizes it kinda really fast but well how it goes, but tldr; dnb drums and beat, orchestral elements such as strings ensembles, violin, piano, any other instrument and other few EDM elements such as leads and plucks.

Its rhythm game music, you can look up how to make it as well since it has similar elements as well on how to make it.
