Though I have been known to jest at times wouldn't it be funny and interesting to actually do it ! ...an Audiosex community project which people could contribute their particular "irritating skill"

 

i have two more for your list :
first , that 808 mafia / metro boomin / kill bill siren sound
and second back in the days when dj clue screamed in the first 2 minutes of his tracks , babbling some area codes and screamin and shit AAARGH

 

... plenty of that goin' round.

 

I'm all for it. Make another thread and lay down some basic irritating track. Share it in a cloud with public access. We're all keep annoying stuff coming on top. I think it would be better if everyone would contribute just their stem and then we'll mix and arrange the whole thing later.

I hate the percussion loops that started showing up in the 90s where they include
vocal samples, woh, yay, all thru the track as a part of the rythm. F***, thats annoying.

if doing it using the forum though do we have to get the OK from the mods?.......I don't mean as an 'official' Audiosex thing but just use the contacts and spread the word on here if anyone wants to join in.

Let's think on it but I am definitely up for it if you are. We could end up with the most ULTIMATE IRRITATING TRACK in the world ever..........and who knows?... the ultimate irritating album may swiftly follow then we can have 15 minutes of YouTube fame!

I have never been inclined to utilize any of these; I take a great deal of pride in coming up with my own annoying sounds. The "vocal fry" thing sounds like a snooty bitch's strangulation commenced, however– which is, um, inspirational, particularly in the case of Kim Lardassian.

For me the sound itself is not so important. What make it pleasant are the artistic and technical efforts spent on it not the essence of the sound.

I can add the disappointing drops to that list. I actually like long build ups but it means something is building up. That video explains me well.

 

HAha this thread made me laugh numerous times, I'd have to add anything that plays out of blown out portable speakers, as well as 808ss that are mixed too loud and rattle peoples cars to the point of submitting any female passengers to multiple involuntary orgasms
