are there natural sounding libs out for Vocaloid ?

are there alternatives to vocaloid ?

 

Not that I'm aware of. I follow a guy on YouTube who really knows his way with Vocaloid and he gets some impressive results. But would I say natural sounding? Kind of. Sort of. But really? No.

It's basically what @Lenny Belardo said, you can get impressive results (even with "occidental" voices/languages). But there's still a lot of artifacts and to overcome them you must throw an insane amount of work and tricks.

I would only recommend RealiBlue for Kontakt. Underrated lib.

 

Vocaloid is based on real vocal samples.
If you want it to sound decent, you have to create realistic performance in the editor.
I don't see the point of it, considering that someone can learn to sing for the time it probably takes to master this program.

Emvoice One Lucy is at the moment the most natural but still sounds a bit artificial.

But on the other hand, still a good sign that not everything can be done by computers and AI´s

Just do a casting for a real singer on Kleinanzeigen . It's always fun to work with other people. And more real is not possible XD

Hahaha, hold on, is that impressive results?!? i dont think so.

I tried it before, its too clunky and boring, too much to master it and in return it would sound terrible, great. and i couldnt find any example of good use of vocaloid anywhere
deleted it.

most vocaloid packs are asian language, and they all sound like that sound like a little castrated, lobotomized cartoon rabbit softly wooing as its being guided around by the brain stem
