Has anyone used online random spin wheels for gaming decisions like choosing characters, loadouts, or in-game challenges?

I am trying to understand whether these tools can actually enhance gameplay experience or if they are just for fun. In games where RNG already plays a big role, do external randomizers make things more fair or just add unnecessary chaos?

I am also curious if players use them for streaming content, challenge runs, or party games with friends.

How balanced and unbiased do you think these systems are when used repeatedly, and do they keep gaming experiences more exciting or frustrating overall?

I think that if a player doesn't have a clue about the game, or is facing mental hurdles or other issues, a random generator can be a great help in making it possible to play at all. For pros, however, a random generator isn't useful; it’s like closing your eyes in a supermarket and just picking something at random. I feel like you should be the one controlling the game, not chance!
