The battery template also depends on Logic smart controls, i have maschine / battery / cubase etc, it be great if the different pads could be set at different rates, or something, what is the best way or easiest way to get the trap hats down, programming them kills the flow... Anything like this exist outside of logic for cubase or battery etc?

 

You don't need that.

Old skool way : Sample your HH sequences at different rates, i.e. 8th Trip,16th, 16th Trip, 32 Trip. Assign to different pads, along with single hits of course. Set AMP ADHSR tight to stop sequence after you release the pad.

Dosen't MASCHINE have roll functions? You might wanna break out the manual.

Or, just use ABLETON.

 

What do you do this in? Maschine? machine does have roll function but not sure its possible to set a different value to each pad. will look into it right now.

You can do this using any sampler that has ADSR. Use your pads or keys to trigger them.

 

I just relaized how easy it is in cubase drum editor.. never really used that in all my years in cubase.
