can you please tell me how to get it to work because mine is saying its missing 9000 samples and theres no sound coming out of it. i have tried batch resave but dint work

 

You need the missing sample library... (the ones you have are actually there?) they could be corrupted... there's no secret to make it work. It's a Kontakt sample library...

 

Me. Just select folder with samples when it will ask for it. Or batch/resave.

I'm going to guess that you have a older version of Kontakt
This is just a guess.

Along time ago this happened to me with another library until I upgraded.

REV works with Kontakt 5.4.2 as far as I know. What exactly is in your samples folder (Output REV\Samples)?

 

in my samples folder there 6 .nkc files and one .nkx file

 

Looks like you're missing the .nkx files, which are the sample files. Do you have it backed up anywhere?

Um sorry no. I wont do that, If you don't have the original archive you need to d/l it again.

BTW the latest Kontakt is 5.51 Im using 5.50.409 and everything works.

I see Rev requires 5.30 But I would update Kontakt just in case.

just upgraded just in case but same old problem

 

my sample folder contains 4 .nkc (rev001, 002, 003, 004), 4 .nkx 001...004, Rev_info.nkc, Rev_info.nkx. When you have your library loaded you need select the preset to start sounds.

 

my folder contains rev_info.nkc, rev001-004.nkc, and only one rev001.nkx.. i select a preset but no sound comes out its because i am missing samples

 

Okay I downloaded it and worked fine to me. One question, are you trying it with the library added already? Because I just tried now without the library added and there was not a single preset, then I added the library and everything was in order.
Might be stupid detail but see how big difference there was.
If not, I can send you the link of the one I downloaded.
The one posted here is the normal one, but the one I downloaded is the v1.1 with 2 expansions. I downloaded both because I read somewhere that was necessary the base (the one posted here) then this v1.1, in that order. So I downloaded both and after trying both I can tell they are the same, except this v1.1 has the expansions, and there's no need for something previous to make the v1.1 work.

It sounds more like you only installed the update and not the full release.
