Anyone use XYplorer or any other Windows Explorer alternative?

I am surprised that no one mentioned OneCommander yet..

it is in V3 and even the free version is is pretty awesome - if you have Teracopy installed it can use TeraCopy instead of the Explorer copy function and it can be used portable. It has a great support via a google group where the developer cares about bugs and fixes extremly fast, dropping a new version.

In some respects better than 'Everything' - more accessible user options. Extremely fast and handy to use.

    Copy into multiple folders
    https://vovsoft.com/software/copy-files-into-multiple-folders/
Supports files, directories and URLs as source
Subfolders and recursive subfolders can be added
    Supports Environment Variables
    Supports network mapped drives
Supports copying files that are already in use or opened
    Compatible with cloud storage applications
In addition to the regular copy operation, the software also allows move and mirror modes.

    Thanks for this one!

I'm on a Windows 10 Enterprise version that I can't really upgrade and was mainly looking for a file explorer with Tabs and a dark theme. Just testing OneCommander and it seems to be quite perfect in that regard. Have to check out its' other features but I'm pretty sure those will turn out to be quite handy.
So thanks for bringing it up here

I have been thoroughly satisfied with xplorer² and XYPlorer for several centuries now. Very stable, capable of large transfers, etc.
xplorer² is also capable of pausing large files, unlike many others which have to restart the transfer of that large file.

Also, both of them, if you so set, preserve your file/folder modified/created dates, which Windows Explorer masterfully decimates between drives.

The only one that have quad panes is Q-Dir. I use it on everyday basis.
It also supports tabs and is perfect for any organization.

Before I was using Directory Opus. Total Commander never really clicked with me.

I don't need dual tabs or quad tabs, but the archiver inbuilt inside Explorer is so shit, I wonder why it even exists. It has features like freezing up the explorer.exe process, being extremely slow and sometimes outright failing to even start copying.
So the first thing I do after a clean install is download Winrar and make it the default for zip files.

XYplorer here also. Really configurable. Indispensable for me these days.

I wish we could find a working version of DOpus. To me, it is the best file manager.
Until that day arrives, I use XYPlorer.
And I really, really, really wanted to like Total Commander since the days when it was called WinCommander. I wanted to like it, but every time I end up unistalling it. Everytime I load it, reminds me of Windows 95.
