@No Avenger Just out of curiosity. Can you run this against the one you did to demonstrate to some of these folks the advantage of having a visual reference. You have said as much repeatedly here on the Forum. It is available, why not use it. In the example, I posted earlier, for which @Xupito wanted a video, I did not utilize any visual reference. It is done by just listening on a $70 earbud set. It is close but not quiet so. One thing, if you use this settings on A and play B at the same time there is frequency cancellation taking place across the spectrum. A visual reference would have been of help. Without visual help it is an excellent exercise. We should post more of this in the future. We can even make it like a prize contest. I have some LEGIT Softube plugins that can go into the jar.

I meant that it is good to use your ears but that visual reference does help. If you said it and don't remember how d oyou expect me to remember among 2,700 messages to whom you have said that. One thing I am 100% sure is that you did say it. Do you agree or disagree? Is visual reference helpful or not? That's all.

 

I could measure some very minor cancellation, that's right. But nothing worth correcting.
