TBH, Team AiR guys were legends. I mean every release was fire. They unlocked big stuff of their time. Don't even dispute over this team contribution to community.

 

I have to apologize for thinking that Team AiR was connected with any of this. Again, seems like they've done a lot for this community, and I heavily respect that.

 

Even if they were connected to it you would never know and ..I doubt they would tell ya.

When I started making installers back in the days, I used AiR's installers as example how I want 'em to be.
I did alot of research and stuff and most of the plugins they used were from asian coders, while I learned most
of the inno coding itself (pascal script) on russian and partly german platforms (even if I don't speak russian).
Also most basic code examples for inno plugins used by AiR were from russian sources so I always thought,
they also could have some members from there.

But since Team AiR even coded their own version of the inno setup compiler, these sources I learned from
also could be replicas of AiR's and others original works. Who knows

 

Nonetheless, Holland Gouda is a Dutch cheese (Goudse kaas) and the name of the city where it came from.

But I have to correct myself, I mistook AiR with arctic who actually were from Germany. But again, AiR and Europe does sound correct.

they took the loot Steinberg Gmbh paid them to stop defeating their Cubase protections after 5.1.2 update & used it for seed money to go legit as AiR Music Technology, releasing their own plugins.

That or some asshats use the very same logo from the AiR nfo's as their own, which would be highly sus.
