I've heard a few things regarding the group recently, I want to know more about them and if there's any way of contacting them as of late.

 

Just out of curiosity:

Why are you interested getting in contact with a long gone team?

 

I've heard rumors that the group was responsible for hacking into the CMS for Turner Broadcasting for their Cartoon Network division.

Team AiR... Demonoid... good times

 

Well from what I can tell, they seem to be still around as a black hat group then. What was their history as a cracking group, out of curiosity.

 

I only give out information to FBI/CIA agents if they're hot women willing to bang me...

 

Not sure about them being an active black hat group. Tbh, that's the first time I've heard of that about them. However, they used to be active and have had quite a good amount of proper releases. As far as I can remember, I've never had any issues with their releases. Like many other groups, they've contributed well enough for me to refine my choices of plugins and help me reach a conclusion before purchasing them.

 

Well as I mentioned, it seems like some of those group members decided to hack into the CMS of Turner Broadcasting. I have no clue why they would do this, with regarding their background in music software cracking, as they wouldn't have any possible motives. But I don't know if any of the members of that team are still active. Though if there is any means of communication, I'd like to know so that I can get an answer to why they did it.

Team AiR cracker Gouda made the latest elicenser dongle emulation for Cubase before his/her death(also lots of iLok stuff), after that the group started to dissappear. They were probably the best cracking ever been, though R2R is good with iLok stuff too

 

AiR was the best team in the audio warez history.

 

Still doesn't explain why they would target Turner Broadcasting for a CNS hack. Did any sort of drama between AiR and Turner Broadcasting ever show up? Was there any sort of members from the group who were into black hat stuff?

Team AiR is legend, Back in the day they were about the challenge, Syncrosoft challenged the scene with their uncrackable copy protection. if there is a Black Hat team called AiR they are just using the name, none of the original team are involved.

 

Wannabes using another groups name, which is forbidden in the scene. Also never heard in 25 years that any audio cracking group would attack against broadcasting company.. and why would they even do that, if they´re trying to keep low profile

 

True, my best guess are script kiddies using Kali Linux to break into some obscure back door they might have just for the shits and giggles. Though the real Team AiR sounded like they contributed a lot here, so I respect that.

 

Are you serious dude? Why do you need to have a clue as to why? Whether they did or not. You join today and ask these questions? Who are you really? Why would you need to know if that team is “active “? You want to communicate with them? You want them to tell you why if they did do it? All this is because you heard “something “.

With all due respect you are setting off all kinds of alarms. And I smell a , lol.

However, I don’t recall ever seeing a “team” invite just anybody to have open communication so that they might answer to someone’s curiosity.

But, hey...I could be wrong.

 

Team AiR aka H2O was smoking the competition in a pipe but they did it for the challange,
the fun and the community, not for offending anyone (but the people who say "my stuff is uncrackable")
and for sure not for commercially-driven companies.

I also don't believe they would use their popular scene name if they really would go for CMS hacks or whatever.
That for sure just was a troll move to get the people look & think into another direction.

Also your way of asking specific questions makes me a bit curious as mentioned by
