Seriously, though... Hasn't the mentality of cr**ck groups AND the people downloading their releases changed so much since H2O/AiR times?

 

Anyone coming here or to the sister site should THANK teams like R2R for their continuous effort in giving the opportunity to try before buy.
I can only speak for myself of course but I'm deeply grateful to have had the chance to try out many of these plugins and select those that were worth the purchase and, most important of all, gave me the opportunity to listen....really use my ears to find out which plugins sound best for the job I want them to deal with. Knowing now how these plugins work and what the flavor is like that they add, I know better how to record all that I record. Once again to all the teams around: thanks for the opportunity!

 

The only things I can say are, UAD and mathematical processing power of video cards. A good week for all.

 

without having an opinion on that, it's kinda the way internet works.
people are used to get all kind of services that appear to be free. (they are not.)

I higly doubt it the peepz behind r2r are like god in the Adam and Eve story.
more likely it's an ecosystem that just shifted it's behavior in how it is acting.

I also higly doubt sunny or repacking (without credit) pulled the wrong string with them. ( but ofc they are lower than low)

Didn't sunny any some other fellow still had access too fresh r2r releases after being banned?

isn't that a security flaw to say the least? isn't that a more likely scenario?
hasn't the internet always been a place where the "more more more" mentality thrives?

it just makes no sense to be offended by that all of the sudden.

Seriously, apart for Cubase 9 and the EWQL libraries what's left uncracked ?

at this point there's such an ocean of cracked stuff that we can go on playing music for at least 5 years.

I would be more worried about the guy behind Utopia, According to me, he/she hasn't showed up since Christmas, and having read the little messages he leaves, maybe he finally did it.

 

For someone without an opinion , you sure have lots to say, So please allow me to break your post down and clarify. R2R are just an evolving group of people(peace-out , ASSiGN) that are up for challenges and love the bragging rights. It's part of the Japanese culture, always be the best at what you do. Now as far as sunny goes , well you could not be more wrong, he really did pull a wrong string with them, so much... that it's been brought up in many NFO's,, BUT your are right, Sunny did still have axx through a 3rd party person that we all trusted but as you can see that got fixed quickly, so that point of yours is moot and has no real merit in today's world, but like you said it was a flaw..It's been handled. Now to the O.P. and the original question... all is good, they still are around, I see them pop up here and there a lot(irc,chats etc etc) all good!! problem is that nobody supplies anymore and they can only work with what they can, if you want better appz to be K'd then go buy it and supply. It's not a very complicated thing to understand. So instead of wondering what your go to Crack team is up to, how about anybody that is reading this , simply give them something to work with

Nope, they are all good and are chilling with the rest of the groups, fact if anyone was paying attention, their pro-tools release even had a R2R tool included and with the exception of a few releases here and there it's been R2R that has been releasing ILok shit, hmm, wonder where they got that info from. think about it!!!

All you people and your speculations = beyond stupid and certainly not factual

At the end of the day and all things said. R2R are good to go, as many others have said they like to keep certain stuff internal but will release when they and only they think it's the right time
