Ive been looking up and down the internet looking for this 808 with no luck, I can recreate 808's that sound very similar, but I'm getting tired of
sidechain compressing, eq-ing, ect. different kick drums and basslines together at different intervals of time.

probably the kick are 2 layers:

- One is heavy a distorted "on the chest" kick, shortened to make room for the tail sub tail.
- The second layer is probably is the same kick but leaving the tail longer and same distortion and a LP filter to avoid that upper harmonics which comes with saturation.
- Then Glued in a bus with some compresion and softclipping.

Maybe is not even that "complex" and he just did some softclipping or Tube/tape saturation and a LP filter.
