I'm looking to try and move from CapCut to DaVinci Resolve, mainly because I'm finding more things I want to tinker with and use are behind the Pro sub, and wondering if anyone know of any good tutorials, resources or assets for DaVinci Resolve as an alternative option?

I use CapCut on a VERY basic drag and drop level, and have historically not gelled to well with video editing software whenever I've tried them (had most success with MAGIX Vegas Pro, whilst losing interest with Premiere Pro very quickly due to frustration).

these programs are so extensive i don't think a guide will help mate.
i don't know anything about video editing but i had to do a few things for work and then i started to like it, so i just started doing some stuff on my own and got davinci. i learnt a few things, but the main problem is going to be like photoshop or our daws: there are multiple ways of doing the same thing. some are easier, some give you more control, some are complex. shortcuts are going to take forever to learn, your brain is still going to try to use your daw shortcuts when you want to move or cut clips. especially zooming and scrolling is going to seem counterintuitive at first.
i had some major headaches but i achieved the results i wanted mostly on myself. whenever i tried to look up online something specific, i got bombarded with long stupid tutorials that started with "open up davinci resolve! click file..." etc. boring and insulting.
honestly, once you learn some basics and how the program works (why are the clips deleting themselves when i click CANC on only one? why is everything muted? what's going on here? etc), it's pretty fun.

sorry can't be of much help, all i'm saying is: you're going to get frustrated no matter what, but that's part of the journey i think.

    good luck & enjoy yourself
