anyone got any idea what may have happened to my Cubase 12?

    I recently had a couple of errors pop up and the software crashed, relating to some display issues. Since then, whenever I load in a plugin, the UI doesn't load and pop up, though the plugin does load in. I have to go to the inspector on the left hand side and click the relevant icon to display the plugin's UI.

    Any idea what caused this or if it's a known or common issue?

    Am I better off reinstalling Cubase 12 rather than trying to discover this issue in the hope it fixes it?

    Try this out:
    Preferences - VST - Plugins - Open effects editor after loading it.
    Make sure the box is checked.

    This fixed it. No idea why the box had become unchecked when the DAW crashed though?!
