Which do the same as LIVECUT or BEAT REPEAT does with audio but with chunks of midi signals.

    Thanks in advance!

Melodya is a MIDI 'remixer' program

and so is venomode 's Phrasebox - also allows you to remix MIDI

also you can maybe try MIDI sequence randomizer programs for spontaneous ideas

    like MIDI madness

    or Audiomodern's RIFFER

Thank you all for the options. They are all very interesting.
Although I think there is still a gap on midi devices to be covered.

Imagine you have carefully crafted syncopated midi beat, and you want that all those notes go trough a midi reciver that chops them and then repeat chunks of them in random time intervals while maintainig the handcrafted swing. Sequencers give you little "off the grid" control in this aspect IMO, mostly a generic swing fader.

But I will dig into those devices to make sure i´m not overlooking such feature.

    Thank you all!

Yes, with a little preparation and automation I think that´s the winner. And the multitrack midi solo/mute it´s something that I did´t thought of but it´s gonna be superuseful.

    Thank you.

Honourable mention to the script based plugins in Logic Pro.
I don't often use them, but we have with the MIDI FX:
"Included are the Arpeggiator, Chord Trigger, and Modulator, along with plug-ins for transposition, randomization and other processing. Scripter enables you to create your own MIDI processing and generation scripts."
Not exactly what you are asking for, but can be done I imagine.
And I think many daws have these sorts of MIDI tools now.

You can do all of this and more with ableton live, max for live, and any of their free tools for midi manipulation.

another great tool is the EZkeys "use browser midi" feature. You can make a chord progression and use another midi clips playing style to trigger your chords.
