Any white keys to scale lock plugins? apart from scaler

    need a vst that maps white keys / qwerty to midi to a selected scale

    Not the QWERTY keyboard. FeelYourSound Melodic Flow and CodeFN 42 Cales are what I use.

    QWERTY keyboards are used for typing irrelevant junk on internet audio forums. Well that's what I use mine for :)

    I found a small CME Xkey 25-key portable keyboard to replace my QWERTY keyboard, and I've never looked back. It does scales, chords, drums, and so much more.

    Almost all DAWs record *before* any soft-synths in the track chain, so I'm going to guess no, not without setting up an intermediate track.

    Ableton can do this using the built-in "Scale" MIDI effect, you can also enable computer keyboard (QWERTY) to play notes.

    I used to map my QWERTY keyboard to the Reaper Virtual MIDI Keyboard, but I found it awkward to work with. What is the OP wanting to do with it?
