Any way to replace instrument version with a new one in the same project? [ Studio one]

    I recently experienced the big question of how to replace a vst in an old project...
    Eg: I use the XO V1.0 plugin. After a while I update it to V2.0 but in studio one the vst no longer recognizes me, I have to reload it x_x (i mean grab one XO V2.0 then drop to replace the "old" V1.0)
    Isn't there a way to avoid this? Or rather, to be able to replace that old version with the new one but without losing the configuration where it was running?
