Maybe, if you asked more specifically, you'd get the help you needed.
What av reciever do you own, and why doesn't the built-in calibration system doesn't work for you?

I am not asking it for myself. I am working as an employee for a company and they are not doing quality work. Thats why instead of doing what they are already doing, I want to gain knowledge for making it better.
Is auto caliberation a good thing to do? What low cost mic can I use?

there's no big deal about calibration really, especially if the room as sh!tty acoustics treatment,
basically you just need a decent flat mic placed at listening position, then measure outgoing signal, compare it with incoming signal and adjust EQ accordingly, just beware of phase issues, linear-phase EQ does better job

i am a specialist, just trust me. Ok now
1 DONT use any automatic setup Bullshit.
2 KNOW ur room and speakers, then setup manually. There is a spot where u listen, set the distances correct.
I know the european values, we are in meters thats abt 3 ms per meter delay (so 3 m is abt 9-10ms ).
Setup the main channels Front left right, and Center with pinknoise to sound like same level, set the surround /back speakers abt 6 db less. Thats it. BTW the CENTER is the most Important speaker it handles 70% of all sound , so use the best Center u can get (2x 6,5 inch drivers in a 20 Liters Volume will do).
    3. Bassmanagement: dont trust any THX Bullshit (120Hz x over) the lower the subwoofer ist lowpassed, the better it sounds. My clients run at 40 max 50 hz crossover lowpass 24dB (DENON Receiver slope f.i.).

A subwoofer is minimum a 12 " Speaker at 60-100 Liters in Volume. LESS is NOT a Subwoofer, its a TROUBLEMAKER.
2 Subwoofer is minimum, 4 is even better and place them in 4 different corners if you want MAX BASS.

Adjust the bass with good music (some Hans Zimmer Orchestral with lots of deep bass, like Batman Movies), start at ZERO Volume in the AV-Receiver setup and adjust to the level u just feel the subwoofer joining into the music. Thats your standard setup for quality music listening .
For any TRANSFORMERs Movie , crank the subs up another 6 db, and have fun with your neighbours.

It's very confusing to me. I have some questions regarding surround speakers.

    1. Does the audio in blu-ray disc has special surround channels in it like left and right channels in a stereo format like mp3 ?

    2. If not, does the receiver itself lowers the level of surround speakers according to the technology it is using like dolby atmos etc?

    3. What audio should I listen to calibrate them? Or pink noise is just fine to go with?

One more question: What approach do you take to equalize all the speakers ? How much to eq and how to eq?

    * I have knowledge of 2 channel system but I am new to the multichannel system. That's why I am having these problems.
