Hello! I'm looking for a timer vst that tells me where I'm on the track, just like the one you find in every DAW but with smaller amounts of time. I need it to fine tune in time kick drums and percusion. I google it but can't find anything.

    Thanks

No I there probably isnt one because the plugin would have to receive time info from the DAW and that is not like tempo which is constant.

Fruity Big Clock is the exception because IL wrote it for FL.

Youre better off changing your grid settings to ms, and zooming in which should rescale the increments.

    @ Shake_puig,

As you're certainly working with 'Audio' Files rather than 'MIDI' ones, the following may certainly be useless for you, but if you plan to use 'MIDI' from time to time, 'MIDI Ticks' are the most accurate and precise 'Measurement Unit' that you'll find for 'MIDI' Files.

The Formula is 60000 / (BPM * PPQ) (milliseconds).

    For instance :
    A 120 BPM track would have a MIDI Time of (60000 / (120 * 192)) or 2.604 ms for 1 tick.

Logically, if you don't know the 'BPM', then you'll have to determine that first !

    Midi or Audio?

    Which Daw are you using?

    Osx, win or linux?

More relevant info would help us to give you a more detailed response.

    Happy New Year

If you use Ableton, there MUST be a Max4Live device for this I would imagine...

I made some more research inside FL Studio and I think the only way to do it is by using "Edison" sampler.
