i am using Cubase 5

everything is super fine but the color setting of key editor (piano roll)

i want it to be black background with light-color vertical grid lines

it was possible for SX3 (H2O)
(just edit the 'workspaceAppearance' lines default.xml, path=C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Steinberg\Cubase )

however, in C5, values of workspaceAppearance lines are restriceted from 0 to 100
so the trick doesnt work anymore
(values would be corrected automatically if they exceed that range)

so, anyone ideas? probably hacking the .exe? how?
any help would be much appreciated
