The male vocalist is unknown!

 

This is awesome! Nailed the 80s vibe... congrats!

 

I asked because he sounded very similar to a studio vocalist we used on several productions in the 80's and 90's

 

BTW, the chorus of this song always reminds me of Self Control by Laura Branigan. Interestingly, Maria Magdalena was released after Brannigan's which was the inspiration of the late Giancarlo Bigazzi who was himself connected to Cretu by way of producer of Frank Faria (Boney M, Milli Vanilly).

 

BTW Is the kick drum too loud?

 

It is not. I would just tweak the kick and the bass a bit in order to give it more definition and presence. Overall, I think you did a marvelous job. I like it better than the original. And this is coming from someone that knows Cretu personally and admires his work. Good job @R.S.

Only 13 views on youtube? Viewers count form beginning to end?

 

You need 30 seconds or more. However, this is what they say:
