nothing beats BFD3 to me... AD2 is a toy in comparaison
Analogue Drums kontakt kits are another go-to and the NI Abbey Road drum kits can do the job too
I forgot the Wavesfactory Tea Towel drums to get that Ringo sound

Here are a few more goodies (raw samples for use in the DAW or with any sampler). I found that if you have a big collection of drum samples, than a tool like Algonaut Atlas or XLN Audio's XO can really come in handy, since it will allow you to oversee and find the right sample quickly. I got Atlas really cheap when it was on sale (I don't know whether the sale is still going on).
