Hello everyone, my first post!

I have a problem with the latest m4 drivers. Avast antivirus sees as virus MOTUMSeries.exe (C:\Program Files (x86)\MOTU\CoreUAC\MOTUMSeries) and deletes it.
Does it happen to others?

i've got a motu m2, i think it's the same driver set. the one from like january 2023? it's been working fine for me, that seems odd but i don't use avast or anything besides microsofts defender. can you allow it on avast?

I've never used an antivirus, I also disabled defender until a few days ago when I had to use Avast because defender couldn't find any viruses that I'm getting inexplicably, like flufit.x or something like that, pioneer etc. I understand that I have viruses because programs start and don't work, I can't install new programs, low memory messages etc., so I'm forced to use Avast.
I have the latest January 2023 drivers.

 

just open quarantine and restore&exclude
to get another opinion upload it to virustotal

I checked it, file is clean.

ps if you have a motu m2/m4 and an nvidia gpu make sure it's on maximum performance mode, not optimal mode. took me like a week or two to figure that out.
