For those bored, this needs attention and extended ear training beyond the 12 tone Western finite. Some of us who are born in certain parts of the world with the microtonal scales as part of our musical heritage, can appreciate what these guys bring to the table. After all, Ancient Greek is the base for Western music, largely adopted almost immediately from the Romans and spread to the West. And excuse me please, but i find the criticism of the costumes bland and shallow. They are part of their art and at least for the foreseeable future won't be separated. You wouldn't and shouldn't ask the Residents to perform without their costumes. It is no coincidence, since AdP are clearly influenced from the legendary Residents but on a spin of their own. Oh and "math rock" only applies to AdP rhythmically, and even then it has moments that dissolve this, even with a looper as the melodic foundation. Btw, you can't go wrong with a banger like this: PS: And before anyone says anything, these peeps don't seem bored at all hehehe EDIT: I thought i wouldn't post this, but this is what they were almost 10 years ago without the costumes.
