I’m trying to define universal structural traits (genre) in search of a broader conceptual definition, while you’re pointing to particular stylistic origins (you even inserted some hyper‑specific cultural flavors!). Both perspectives are valid, but mine was focused more on what people commonly associate with math rock, regardless of where the sound comes from.
