Some of you probably noticed that 27 days have gone by since my last review.
Just so you know, it's not over!
Let me explain

Since 1st of March I'm employed at local IT company, being in job from 7.00 am to 3.30 pm does not leave me with much time left, and energy as well. Since I spend 10 hours in front of LED and CCFL LCD screens every day, the last thing after coming home I want to do, is turn my PC on to carry on with 'the usual stuff'. Not saying it's not possible, but a deep analysis of Kontakt libraries requires five key elements:

• Time
• Energy
• Concentration
• Willingness
• State of mind

At the end of a day, I might have some time and energy, just missing the 'state of mind' thingy, as there are other things for me to do (like composing) and/or just want to go out and relax.

Anyway the conclusion is:
Reviews will continue!
Balanced Headphones will be finished!
Optimization guide will be written!
and most of my libs (Shvi 2.0, Recorders, ...) will be released!

It just take the SI unit everyone has limited amount - TIME!
So if you anticipated review every other day and/or every week, from now on it'll be most likely on irregular basis.

But still count me in with the physical album printing, not feeling like backing up from that!!

 

Let me be the first in a long line of guys who's gonna say this:
You have nothing to apologize for. You're a great guy, I appreciate all the stuff you do here and I totally understand that you have other things going on.
There's no pressure on you, I'm just happy that you're a part of this cool community

 

Andrew please don't worry, each review is a gift that we are lucky to enjoy and not an expectation waiting to be fulfilled. I also have limited time and sometimes it bothers me when I know I haven't answered people that I need respond to or I need to tend to some important task that hasn't been done but there is only so much time in the day even without sleep. There is such a thing as priorities and also it's good to have time for yourself. Write a review when you have the time and the mood should strike you. We have more and more members getting involved so there is always other material to peruse in the meantime. It's Sunday, crack open a beer and relax.

 

please continue in your own time Andrew, when you have the time and want to contribute

All I'm going to say is you'd be surprised how much I get done outside of here. I'm the king of multitasking.

 

Now you know why i call myself a Guru!!! lol, But truly if you hadn't made this post i was going to report you for non-compliance of keeping up with reviews just teasing....

Anyhow if i need my Andrew Review fix i usually just read your old reviews and i'm always learning something new from you about certain libraries that i missed, especially on that perfect 1 topic

As always i accept your apologies and hope this never happens again

Resources are always limited, do not destroy yourself trying to do impossible things.
You gave a lot of preasure for us.... musical pleasure of course
