    Composition is a very personal thing versus songwriting for the masses. So criticism is something I hesitate on when someone says they spent ages on and put their lifeblood into. So purely musically and compositionally.

    So on a purely musical level, you know what you wanted to say and did. It has the right compositional tools like reiteration of themes with differing instrumentation but I do not need to tell you that because you know it.
    Big effort and kudos to you for the effort.

    As for mix or balance, I have heard a LOT of film scores, done a few and written orchestral themes most people will possibly never hear.
    The instrumentation placement creates the tension aligned in your theme with the title of the track so not too much to me is open for criticism. Perhaps the EQ'ing, panning and other things, but that comes down to a final mix and mastering anyway and not worth any critique at this point from my point of view only.

    I think you have talent in this area to create what you envisage as a title (theme). The amount of years anyone does something has nothing to do with something being good. It's good. The most difficult thing to do with instrumentation that is all samples have a difficulty - This is to facilitate the creation of light and shade in dynamics. The volume is not too hard with velocities in MIDI, but intensity dynamics like live players would create takes more practice and what gives the real-player imagery.
    Additionally, experimenting with different microphone positions if the samples permit also makes balancing in dynamics easier. This is where the EQ comments are valid because some reverbs (processed and natural rooms) add their own colour to the frequency spectrum that can cause separation issues.

    Busy? PFFFFT - I figure as the composer you are like Mozart when the Prince said too many notes. Ask them which notes they want you to remove. Great - Keep it up... and welcome! :)

    Controlled Chaos. Wonderful. Some issues have already been mentioned like the ballans in loudness between instrument groups (Mainly in the beginning). Strange thing though is that when you listen a second and a third time the unballans seems to have disappeared. Maybe it is good after all.

    And furthermore I have nothing to say. This is beyond my capacities. I can only applaud you for your work and the guts it takes to share it.
