I'm not sure you could really call it a "clone" of the EMS but it is damn similar. But one less 0 on the price tag to get one now. EMS was made in UK, Erica are Latvian so they have probably changed it enough to call it something new; rather than a more typical reverse engineering job. But I do not see them having anything more in common than that.

Its Digital with analog Filters, its one heck of a synth
And its only available 2nd hand (out of production) if lucky 2-3k)

 

$2800-$6500 depending on condition and greed...supply and demand. I've not seen one for sale near me, like ever.

Yes. And when doing that, make sure to test them side by side with a good VA synth like the KORG Prologue.
It found it quite surprising and totally unexpected when I did.

 

I see MatrixBrute around 1000 bucks second hand in France
And you will need a LOT more money to get the flexibility with any "analog modules solution".

 

As many mentioned already: the Arturia Polybrute. It's probably thé most modern take on analog synths.

I myself went for a Sequential Prophet 6 because I didn't need the extra features of the Polybrute, but if you do it's kind of a no-brainer in my opinion.
