I've noticed that starting from version 1.2.1 of AGT, AGM, and AGL, the R2R releases do not trigger release samples at all;

even when I turned the volume of the releases all the way up, I could not hear any release samples,

whereas in versions earlier than 1.2.1 (for example 1.1.2) the release samples could be heard clearly.

This problem also exists in the newest AGG 1.6.0 release.



I've been to the support forum of Ample Sound at KVR, and I didn't notice anyone reporting this important issue.

I also doubt that Ample Sound or its customers would overlook something so obvious after so many updates since 1.1.2, so I think it may be a problem with R2R releases.




Does anyone else experience this as well? Does this issue also exist in mac releases?


Hopefully R2R can be notified of this issue...

i experienced a bug on 1.5.5 release of AGG, AGF, AGP:

when using chords every 200 ms (nearly) sound goes slightly off beat

now tried AGG 1.6 and the problem was fixed

 

Not sure how is this related to this thread though.....
since it's a completely different issue and has been fixed, yet the no release sample problem is still in the latest AGG 1.6.0 R2R release



Does anyone here have ways of contacting R2R to let them know about this issue?
