ample sound guitars midi question

    can ample sound guitars be triggered by midi in the daw?

    i tried it but i was only hearing some scratches of the guitar...

    i tried changing octave and also that didn't work

    how can i solve this

    Yes, absolutely. You can do everything inside your own midi editor if you want. But you need to know how...it's not hard, but watch some YouTube videos on it, or read the manual. I forget as I've not used it in a long time, so I've no direct pointers except to say "yes".

    I'd first try to play the notes on the VSTi's keyboard with the cursor. If this works, the same MIDI notes will work too. If it doesn't work, check for stucking keyswitches or mod wheel position or wrong velocity. As @boing_cr said, on principle this works (it's the only way I'm using it).
