I should play a steel guitar midi part and the best sound seemed to me that of the ample sound SJ (sorry if I'm wrong) my problem is that in the midi track I have a very low note (C1) that can't play with the current setup of the instrument, I was wondering if there was a way to extend the keyboard and make it play that note too thank you

 

Sort of,
- you could use the alternate tuner (tuning machines) and see if it works (gets low enough),
- you could use an octaver but this may degrade the sound too much,
- you could use the pitch bend wheel to tune it down just as much as you need (see settings, bender range).

 

I'm pretty sure in the settings you can tweak the note of every sample. Don't know if there's a limit.
The pitchshifter option is always there. I mean a general version of the octaver @No Avenger mentioned. But if the difference is still more than half octave as he also mentioned the quality degrades quite a bit.

 

I couldn't find such a setting in the manual...

 

It's the "vertical bars" icon of the top-left icons, the more on the right. But I just checked and it only allows pitch-shifting/tuning one semitone up/down max. Not what the OP wants.

It seems like more refined and accurate version of what you can do on the GUI's guitar tuner image, ie emulating how a real guitar string is tuned.
