Yeah and it's not even that much space when you really think about it, orchestral libraries for example will fill up your hard drive fast. Also another library that I'm eagerly awaiting is Vir2's Acou6tics which will include a steel-string guitar, twelve-string, nylon string, ukulele, and mandolin.

After a month you will have a better sound then a fake guitar vst, some things are not made to simulate, certainly not a guitar.
btw if you are into music you will have fun learning guitar every day.

Not everyone wants the calluses, cost and years of training to play guitar. Personally that's why I want to learn to play the piano because you can emulate other instruments to varying degrees of believability and it opens up a lot of doors. I've actually heard some tracks made with VSTs that sound pretty sweet, that will only get better in the future and with techniques such as physical modelling anything is possible. If I had to learn to play every instrument that I emulate I would never learn any of them.

FYI I play Bach transcriptions on classical guitar, how about you?

Of course you can learn a little bit of strumming, some power chords or finger picking within some months.

But especially classical guitar is one of the most difficult instruments to learn on a high and convincing level. So people will appreciate a good AGL anyway.
