    Nice Clip.
I;ve always wondered why Commodore didn't do with the Amiga as they did with the C54. For Games (and other less frivelous Apps) it was Number 1 in the mid 80's ( I know this - I worked for a then High Street Electrical retailer called "Laskey's) and we couldn't ship enough of the C64's - arguably, the Amiga's little Brother.

Because there were so many games/Apps for the C64 it held it's own against pretty much all of the competitors (BBC, Acorn, Atmos, Spectrum and Apple Products) for the market positio it took.

Commodore never really seem to push the Amiga as much as the C64.

I owned one (bought 2nd hand from a boot fair) back in 1995 and even then (with PC numbers starting to make a mark etc.) it was a fab games machine and I always wanted to investigate the MIDI side of it's capabilities but could never find any software and/or hardware to hook up to it.

Shame as these machines (especially the larger version) were quality machines.

Anyway, those are my thoughts on the matter!

Yeah, I owned an Amiga500 and what a nice computer it was. But Commodore screw up the whole thing with its marketing policy. We all know the rest of the history.

So true. The larger version was the Amiga 2000, with 1MB RAM instead of the half MB of the Amiga 500, with monitor and a proper case. 99% of Amiga 500 owners used a monitor to TV (NTSC/PAL) adapter. There was a lack of peripherals for serious/pro users and the few ones available were indecently expensive, beginning with the Amiga 2000 itself.
