ok, so my max 1920 x 1080 display on old acer monitor just able to more maxed at 3840 x 2160 display virtually on 3200g after software update.. just fyi in case u guys missed out.. i'm 4k-ing on YT like I can touch that ocean wave rn so real.. wow..

 

its amds answer to dlss and called fidelity fx its poor at best only works well on 1440p or above its basically a sharpining filter that gives you moderatelly better fps at high resolutions with it turned on pros are it works on nvidia and amd cards but it makes images look alot more smudged than sharper and it also puts this god awful white tinge across anything its on like its sharpining the gammer output rather than what dlss does sharpens the pixel count via ai.

It's a confusing explanation. He's talking about AMD own technology for upsampling, like Nvidia's DLSS. Vital for gamers.

The big deal is it works on every GPU pretty much <5 years old. Including Nvidia's.
DLSS 2 is still better but only Nvidia RTX 3000 series supports it. Farmers or scalpers . That means even if you have the former fastest Nvidia RTX 2080Ti (only DLSS 1, which is shit) AMDs FSR will give you quite some FPSs more.

It's quite the interesting tech. And a direct kick in Nvidia's ballz.
