So they've re-invented the Baldwin FunMachine... whoopdie-freakin' doo :D

That song at the end is truly terrible too.

I mean this is pretty dumb. I thought it was going to be something a little cooler than what it was. It just gets a crappy sounding bass to play your root note, figures out the bpm and has a drum set attempt to play a 4 on the floor, and a guitar and synth to just mimic your chords. Really simple stuff. There's a reason no other company has wasted resources to develop this. Granted it was probably made in a day but still.

I was expecting to hear an impressive Zimmer rip off... not a badly programmed onboard demo from a 1990's General MIDI unit.
I think our jobs are safe for now.

I just want to know who is actually asking for this? Ive just been seeing a lot of AI tech used to compose music. I wonder is this just another way for the record labels to get around paying producers and composers.

 

One has noticed In America, sales of products increase when " Just " the word AI is there. Some are really addicted to AI and so are the customers. The investors who have the money support Silicon Valley and if a small idea promises returns and profits, it is promoted.

It is not known today how the future of AI looks like, it is of course not intelligent like humans, but humans make mistakes and AI does not. Record companies want to sell hits, because that's where the money is. Who writes these hits? An AI can certainly be well fed with the most successful hits of the last 100 years.

An AI intelligence as a band on TV, no people want to see pretty people. The stars and starlets.
I think the use of AI will increase because the temptation is too great. Certainly more artists will become unemployed by AI.
