Hey guys, lately I've been having a sound issue with my Alto-L6 mixer I bought back in 2005. There is some random noise/distortion on the left channel of the main output and nothing I do fixes it. It sounds exactly or almost the same as vinyl noise. Its really strange, I love this old mixer because it can do 10hz-55khz, SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio) 115 dB etc.. I'm wondering if the power supply needs replacing and if so where could I find a new one these days? Would taking it apart and cleaning it do any good?

a very good percentage of mixer problems get fixed by normal disassembly and cleaning.

Ok, there's quite a bit of screws but I guess since Alto ignored my support ticket email for repair its worth a try? =P

Do you think it could be the ac adapter crapping out and if so what do I do?
