Altiverb 7 – not really better than Altiverb 6

    If you understand German, this can be very useful to understand the pros and cons of Altiverb 7.

    Cons:
    – Very heavy CPU load!
    – Knobs and wheels are problematic
    – Knobs on the lower (hidden) panel are too small
    – Interferences with Studio One commands
    – No manual numbers/values input possible?
    – GUI is loading slow
    – Expensive price!
    – iLok protection

    Have you experienced more issues (if you have Altiverb7)?

    I don't speak their language but somehow I feel I know exactly what they're saying about Altiverb... :P

    i use altiverb 6 alot but yea does rape cpu so what i dois have a project saved where i re save the reverbs i like as convolution reverbs (as wave ) in fruity loops and then bring them back in using the fruity convulsion plugin. Its great aswell because i can also add a delay and save them as one impulse response.
