The TDR Nova GE is really good with the automatic deresonate feature.
But the €50 is a bit too much for me because of the foreign-exchange rate.
Is there any other plugin like that but a bit cheaper?
    Thanks in advance.

Off the top of my head, I can't think of any company that's gonna charge you less than $50 for a dynamic EQ. And TDR generally prices their stuff well below what they could ask for it, so anything cheaper than it is going to be a significant drop in quality, probably.

People on gearslutz are crazy about new harsh and resonate killer, oeksound soothe. Price is 149 euro, but there are hundreds of impressive comments, and shocked "analog-only engineers" say it's the best of software. Algorithms are the topnotch, some audiodemoes there are shocking. Makes good sound to be brilliant; worse sounds become very good.
Since 1.0.5 it's for Windows too. Latest is 1.0.7 for now

Well I read this & thought it had to do with porn. Then I read "EQ" and thought "Well shit there was graphic EQ, now there's a Porno-graphic EQ"

Well I wish the TDR Nova's GE price was in dollar.

Haven't tried this one. Thanks for reminding me.

It is good. But it has no automatic deresonate mode. Sorry for my laziness.

You can't find anything cheaper like that - €50 is nothing compared to the competition.

In my understanding MSpectralDynamics can do the job

  17. Killer of bad nodal resonance. Oeksound Soothe always keeps it's back to the wall, like Shane does in the film. Those bad resonances are a sneaky bunch and one never knows from where they'll attack!

Wow I did a comparising between sooth and MSpectraldynamics. I do not use Melda plugins often. I never tried MSpectral before. It is amazing.
I dont care what the developer of sooth wrote. In my opinion he developed a plugin which Mleda allready did. And they did it even better.

I invested now more then a hour to compare the demo of sooth to Mspectral. Both are really good plugins . But spectral wins. Way more natural sounding. A lot more options to tweak if you want to.
    Thanks for this awesome find.

every day here I get reminded how little I know... what happens when bad resonance strikes? :deep_facepalm:

  20. @Herr Durr .. Nothing good my friend, nothing good at all. If you have any warning at all before they strike get home as fast as you can. Fill your bathtub with water because you just might be in for the long haul if the utilities all go down like they did in '37. Put blankets over your windows so no light escapes at night (stock up on candles, matches and lighters) and no light gets in in the daytime. My best advice to you is to find a closet and hunker down in there for 72 hours until they peter out and it is safe once again to go outside.
