    Hey guys!!

I am currently looking for an alternative for EXS24 sampler. Multi output needed.

I play in a band using samples. I trigger loops/samples/clicks. It's me, with a laptop, Bass player, Keyboard Player and a drummer. I use a macbook, m-audio profire 610 and midi controllers.

I use ESX24 in Mainstage. I need to send Loops/Samples to the PA and also send Loops/samples + Click to my bandmates in order to keep them tight with the click.
The click is divided by sections, this means that for each time i trigger a loop i trigger a new click. The click needs to be triggered by me and not the DAW's click. Check the attachment.

I need to with one pad or one note, eg C#5, trigger samples of an acapella, a guitar, horns and the click.

The PA receives a Acapellas and Instrumentals in different channels so that the FOH can mix.

I don't like Mainstage very much. At least for my case. I lose lots of times with the layout and with the mapping. So can anyone recomend me other sampler or solution? The important here are multioutput and fast sample edit/slicing.

    I know it's a little bit confusing! :D

Battery should be easiest, you can easy route out stuff - up to 16 outputs or was it more?

Think about using Ableton for this. Each pad would trigger one scene (all four tracks in one horizontal line), and you have many clips (i.e. loops or single shot samples) all in one large grid. Because you also want quick sample editing and multiple outs, Ableton Live would give you all on one screen, and it's really fast to use imho if you practice a bit. Adding new samples or swapping/replacing would be an easy task. You could even have more tracks on the same output channel to have room for further samples, just in case you want to layer even more sounds. Most other samplers will force you to dive deeper into editing and lose more time.

I like to use Battery and Geist, they compliment each other really well. Geist is an absolutely brilliant piece of software that covers sampling quite well with a speedy workflow. Then of course there's always Kontakt.
