My setup is great for me. The workflow is much more intuitive to me than a DAW. Hardly have to do anything in the way of mastering too.
Anyways, next up will be a Psy Trance track with an eastern flavour that's been sitting in the Electribe 2 for ages.

You need to incorporate reverbs into your songs.Feels rather dry.
Less is more though,but it will make your mix more alive and dynamic.

Unfortunately, Korg in their great wisdom decided not to put reverb in the insert fx of the Electribe 2. They only put them as master fx. There is only one out for all 16 tracks. Now, whereas I can't choose haw much insert fx goes to each track, I can't choose how much mater fx goes to each track separately. So, if I put reverb on, it's on all tracks at the same amount. This means quite a compromise. I can have a dry track, or I'm in danger of sounding like a Slush Puppy machine. Although I prefer a dryer sound for this style of track, but I do normally have a gnat's knob worth on the master fx.

I was trying to keep it short for a change. I'm not into the standard dance breakdown, let's have an "ooh" moment, build up, drop. as I really hate that when I'm dancing. If I start and stop, it's short. I guess you could say it's my signature, along with the relentless hats, kick and bass.

Glad it made you smile; that was the intention; to be a fun track. I was having an absolute blast, which is probably why I forgot the reverb.

There's actually a lot of fx going on, just not much verb. 2 M1 piano sample oscillators; 1 with chorus and 1 with distortion. A squirt sample osc with overdrive, and a Clav being decimated. A prophet 5 style lp filter, 2 acid lp filters, and an MS 20 lp filter. on the Electribe. All percussion from the Electribe is filtered. Rhe kick and bass from The Rm1x has auto pan, which is running right and left as well as front and rear Celeste chorus, and room reverb. I normally have more coming from the RM1x, which is probably another reason it sounds so dry, also I'm not playing the Prophecy in this track, but I will on the next one, as it's begging to get played.

You know unfortunately hardware gears are kind of sinking ships for the Mr. producers and instead of staying around they are just leaving them to be totally drowned. You'd better do it too if you don't want to be submerged.

I don't own them. If I did I'd have to move out.
I was pointing out the new hardware synths that have been released so for this year, and I'm sure I've missed a few.
That's not including FX units, amps, mixers, monitors, samplers, loop players, etc, etc.
My set up is a Electribe 2, Volca sample, RM1x, and a Prophecy(not used on this track).
