    - All file hosting servers are parsing their files specifically looking for .RAR and .7z extensions
    - These parsing crawlers will attempt to open the files if there is no password.
    - The names of the files are prioritized for searches ( this is paid by Adobe, Microsoft etc)
    - Anything with a file name that is on their priority list is tagged and sent for further evaluation
It is then logged and all downloads counted. This information is then sent to the companies.

Some uploads here have the names encoded which would be the correct way to handle the parsing searches, those uploads are more secure since there is no name to set off alerts and also don't require passwords since the priority are names on the main archive.

The parser searching for files will simply pass by ad24.2.7z or ad24.2.rar but will obviously alert to Adobe2024.2.7z or Adobe2024.2.rar

Back in 2001-2006 there was even further attempts to mask the files even renaming the extensions to something else so the searches could not open the files at all and moved on.

-Passwords at okay up to a certain point
-Obfuscating the file names works very well and keeps the searching moving

Am I not the only one who noticed this?

What is your take on leaving the filename visible on the uploaded files? Okay or Not?

    Thanks!
