well, since we're into conspiracy theories, now that you make me think about old stuff .... 1 - there was a well known cracker and reverse engineer living in belgium's capital, no idea if he was into Gouda cheese, probably yes, for sure he was into good beer and good wine. 2 - he was around 50 years old so still relatively young and he died of cancer in mid-2009, that means after the release of Cubase 4 and before Air's Cubase 5. 3 - he's known to have been linked to Phrozen Crew (or active member of) and probably other minor groups, and he published some stuff about cracking dongles in the 90s. i don't think it was him, but he could have been involved in one way or another, maybe not in the practical crack, just as an inspiration or tutor ...
